   I don't see how your daughter can be 50 lbs if that's what she's eating. However, I don't want to be quick to judge, because I'm in a similar position, just at the opposite spectrum. My 8 month old daughter weighs only 14 lbs, which is below the 3rd percentile. Her doctor is *very concerned* but I'm not. It's frustruating because I feel like the dr. is only looking at the charts and not at my baby. I don't think "weight" always has to be the same. My daughter eats well (breastmilk and baby food), never spits up, sleeps well, is walking, crawling, clapping, babbling, etc. In other words, she's doing fine and is a happy, healthy *small* baby. Your daughter sounds like a happy, healthy *large* child. You know her best. If you and your Pediatrician don't agree on important things, maybe you should find a new dr.

   I randomly stopped in last weekend. 7 days later my distended belly is finally beginning to level out.

   Everything there is basically ordered and priced by the pound. 1lb of brisket…1lb of flank steak…1/2 pound of pigs toes…etc. Whether you're solo or in a party of 10, all of the elements of your meal are sliced onto a big metal tray…weighed…and topped off with complimentary slices of white bread. No plates. Just a big tray piled high with mounds of meat, sides, and bread. Plastic flatware is optional. Rolls of paper towels serve as napkins. Beer comes by the gallon. I've really never ever felt so gluttonous in my life. I have a love of meat and all, but that place is like some sort of depraved meat orgy. Carnal. Primal. Sloppy.

   I'd suggest A.) the flank steak, and B.) ordering about half of what you think you can eat. My 2 friends and I assumed that a pound of meat + 1/2 a side order per person would be about right. After an $80 bill, 3 doggie bags, and a painful walk home, I can safely say we overdid it.

   PS: Fette Sau smells like a hot dog. FYI.
