The solution I found is called a Butter Bell. It seals the butter and the water keeps it from getting rancid, for up to three weeks. It stays nice, soft and spreadable. I call it a win/win. You can purchase them on-line or at any kitchen shop. We got ours at a full-line hardware store...

We're ordering Chinese tonight... my boyfriend has not been able to figure out what the chicken dish is called that he had with peanut butter. He says it was like General Tso's with the chunks of chicken but it had peanut butter mixed in. Help!
