Why do some white people, especially in Australia, dislike China and Chinese people so much?
In this age of globalisation and multiculturalism there are still a number of Westerners (white people) who dislike China or Chinese people. I heard comments like, 'Chinese are greedy and selfish and don't respect human rights or women' , 'Chinese are hardworking, but nerdy and secretive', etc. Why all these unwarranted, unjustifiable hatred?
What a racially inciting question ! "Why do some white people, especially in Australia,..... "
Considering how the vast majority of Vietnamese in Vietnam hate Chinese, maybe it is abrupt to ask why "white people"and "especially Australians" have such sentiments.
That to one side...
China has an atrocious record of human rights abuses. This is of course the Government's doing, and not that of the individual Chinese people as a collective group.

China stands as an independent country, ignoring the norms of other countries and human rights policies. China also with it's intensely corrupt Government and Police, facilitates organised crime and criminal activity.
The Chinese Government have created a situation where it's attitude is broadcast and forced upon the people where dishonesty for personal gain is acceptable, as is cheating, lying, deceiving, selfishness and greed. Chinese people who take on this way of life, will carry it with them wherever they go. That is to say, a Chinese person with those attitudes will most likely continue them in another country where they might immigrate to. Of course, not all Chinese think or operate that way, but those who do cause angst and suspicion among others to the extent it is difficult not to judge all Chinese that way.
Chinese immigrants in Australia have largely demonstrated no desire to adopt the Australian way of life, instead, associating only amongst other Chinese, favouring buying and selling with Chinese only and living in high density Chinese population areas.
By their own deeds, they arouse suspicion and mistrust.
Facts to consider....
The highest percentage of people in Australia prosecuted for software and movie piracy are the Chinese. (ABCI figures)
The highest percentage of name brand copies and fakes of clothing, sunglasses, jewelry etc, are sold by Chinese in Australia.(ABCI figures)
The highest percentage of any ethnic group in Australia that cheat on their taxes are Chinese. (ATO figures)

Do I need to prime paint Linen white flat over China white. More info Inside. need help.?
i've decided to save the money and paint myself. 1500sq ft. Walls and ceiling have china white paint. I'm going to use Linen white flat paint...do I need to prime? Or can I just spackle, sand, clean walls, and start painting right like that? i'm going to do ceiling and wall both linen white, and semi gloss on the trim/molding. Is that ok? or do I need to filter the paint, mix it all in one batch, etc...and do the whole 9 yards? I guess when someone has 5-10 gallons of paint, they mix it all up, put it in a big bucket, and filter it, and then start like that. otherwise, different paint cans, while they may have the same name, have different ID's, and could be darker or brighter. The ceiling in one area has a lot of dirt on it from the previous paint job. It must have had a lot of debris because if you run your hand over it, you can feel and see all the little balls of debris hanging from the ceiling. I guess I can just sand that, and repaint over right? Thanks for your help in advance
It all depends on how perfect you want your final product. Mixing all the paint is a very good idea and not all that difficult to do. However, If your white colors are not very different, it seems like an aweful lot of money to spend primering everything just to ensure that 1/100 of a shade difference never bleeds through the new paint. I personally wouldn't waste the time and money.
If you want perfection and don't mind spending the $$$'s, then go ahead and primer everything. If it matters that much to you, you should go ahead and primer everything.
Whether you primer or don't primer, the most important thing is to seal off all the grease spots and dark stains with KILZ or similar product, because dark spots will eventually come through the white paints.

I hear asian jeans give NO SPACE for the crotch. Probably because Chinese men are so……you know what I mean. Andrew bought some jeans that are extremely tight around the area, but ok everywhere else. Good luck with that.
