Custard Cups
Why is the media reporting that Peter Mandelson had "green custard" thrown at him when it appears to be soup?
Custard would be too thick in consistency to allow it to be thrown from a tall paper cup. It simply wouldn't project fast enough.
It's some kind of watery pea soup clearly. This just goes to show that the media are run by not very clever people.
Good to get you all thinking about what you are told in the media.
Socratically question everything. Never take what you are told for granted.
Since the protester who threw it claimed it was custard I am happy to believe it was custard.
You can't judge a book by its cover and you can't identify custard by its viscosity!

I would do what sassy suggested
Before you mix the key lime filling into the cream
mix it a bit with a fork or whisk to soften it
then after it's all mixed pour it all into the came crust
you originally used
if you get a bit of crust into the filling it's ok it will just add texture
keep refridgerated
