What is called in English a hotel in the countryside which has horses, animals, and it's like a farm?
in portuguese we say hotel-fazenda ( something like "farm-hotel")
another question: how do you call a house in the countryside which has a swimming pool and some land to play or to walk, but it's not so big. Thanks.

Fashion advice please...for the English countryside.?
Do you think it looks alright to wear a sweater draped over your shouders while wearing a tweed or hounds tooth blazer? Or should the sweater be draped over your shoulders before putting on the blazer. Or can I do this at all without looking like a silly preppy?
Wear the Blazer,wrap the sweater around your head and go take a walk along the M25 motorway you sad b******d.

How fabulous! If I was going on vacay to England I’d definitely be coming home with some hunters and traditional English coats. Then I would pretend to own a manor when I got back home and stomp around like I was checking up on my grounds…

Not exactly crams..this is quite generous by plenty of English countryside cottages’ standards…still, nice.

To someone you meet in a store you can say ' I live in town ' or ' I live in the country.'
To a stranger you just met while traveling you can say; ' I live in a town' or ' I live in a city'
You can say;' I live in a country' for example England. I live in the country-outside of town,farming area.
It is kind of hard to explain why;'I live in town' is correct but ;'I live in city' or 'I live in country' is incorrect.
