Hi! I live in the Northern Beaches, and I have my 18th coming up soon. I was planning High Tea in the city with four of my freinds, but I decided that we should probably do something before we go to afternoon tea. So, I was wondering if anyone knew about some attractions around the city that arn't the obvious touristy places (and are appropriate for 5 high-heel-and-dress wearing teenagers ;] ). Thanks!

War with Russia?
We're on the verge of conflict with Russia. I think it' a bout time, don't you? Let's invade them and establish them as one last jewel in the British Empire! Then we can covertly retake America, and this time we'll enforce the tea taxes with a firm hand! Do you second my proposal?
In reference to the comment "In a conventional war they would whip our ***. " actually I have to say that the British Armed Forces have a projecton power second only to the U.S.A, so there'd be no ass whipping for us . Altho this does muddy Objective number 2, but as yanks are idiotic half-people I'm sure we'll confuse them and win. Don't worry chaps, we're British and God made us Mighty
A war with Russia, if nuclear weapons were left out the equation would be quite bloody, but would ultimately end in our victory if they invaded us.
To get to us they'd have to get the permission of France/Germany to attack us as they lack the power projection capabilities a naval assault would require, whilst unloading their troops onto our beaches they would have practically no aircover, making them sitting ducks for our fighter bombers and Apaches. You also have to take into account a few other factors. Whilst Russia has weight of numbers, the training the UK army/RAF recieve is second to none. A standard British trooper is more than capable of taking on a member of special forces from many other countries and coming out on top.
Secondly, land power. Our tanks, whilst fewer in number have fire control capabilities enabling them to hit a moving target the size of a football from 5 miles in the dark. The Challenger 2 is also one of the fastest and well armoured tanks on the planet, the only known weapons platform able to penetrate a Challenger 2's frontal Glacis Plate is another Challenger 2.
Our airforce, Russia's most advanced air vehicle is the Mig-29, whilst good it is vastly outclassed by the Tornado and Eurofighter. Also, it would have to carry less armament and have it replaced with fuel. In contrast British fighters could carry max loudouts and land quite easily to rearm, allowing them to loiter around the return routes after the Migs have finished doing whatever it is they are doing.
Lastly, the flat plains of the Russian Steppes would see their tanks turned to molten slag before they could even see ours.
