Vintage Luray Dishes Safe?
I have recently acquired a great set of vintage luray pastel dishes from the Fifties. I am wondering if there is any risk from potential lead paint. I have been eating off them pretty regularly but I do not microwave or put them in a dishwasher. If anyone has any info on the risk of lead paint in Luray dishes it will be most appreciated. Thanks!
seems to me if there are cracks on the glaze covering the paint you might have an issue. the bit of research I did do indicated you should save them for special occassions or decorative purposes only. Too bad, I bet they are beautiful
