how to price antique dishes?
We "inherited" a near complete set of antique dishes - Noritake Japan, pre-World War II.
They are pretty, but I just don't have any room for them. No one else in my family wants them, and I got permission to sell them...I have an interested party, all she's waiting for is a price.
Complete serving for 10, originally it was serving for 12 - (although some of the plate/bowl sizes I still have 12 of).
There are 4 different sizes of plates, 2 sizes of bowls, tea cups, and all the serving ware (including 2 platters, gravy boat, creamer, sugar bowl, and 2 serving bowls) Everything that should have a lid, has one.
All together, I have 87 pieces. Some are chipped, but no major cracks or breaks.
How do I price something like this?
I found this pattern on the internet - but all I got was "discontinued pattern" and "unavailable"
