In my living room I have an art nouveau print by Alphonse Mucha called "Princess Hyacinth". She's sitting on a throne sideways in a very unconventional way and in her hand she holds another crown, which I take to be the QUEEN'S crown...as if to say...I'm only a princess now...but just wait...
In my bedroom is a watercolor print by Elvira Amrhein called "Guardian Angel. It's an angel, but the really cool thing about it is you cannot guess the gender of it...it actually looks like it's BOTH genders...very cool, and exactly how I picture my 'guiding force'.
I believe that art pieces DO reflect the person who chose it...or at least their beliefs/aspirations and what they think is important.

If I place a piece of furniture in front of an ac intake vent, how far away does it need to be?
I have a large wooden sideboard. I want to place it near a wall in front of an air conditioning intake vent. Is this okay to do? How much space must be between the vent and the furniture?
If you must put the furniture there, I'd allow 4 inches to allow adequate air flow to the cold air return.
