Platter Plate
How much would a good motorized wheel and electric kiln cost?
For a basement bound potter looking to create maybe 6-12 pieces a week rangeing from vollyball to basketball size. Most of the pieces would be pots, platters, bowls, plates, cups, vase's, and the like.
A good wheel will run from 800. up. A small kiln at least $1000. I've been a potter for over 35 years and I recently purchases a Creative Industries Artista Wheel to take along to shows I do. It is light weight, portable and powerful. I can easily center 25 lbs on it. I think if runs around 300. The best kiln for the money is an L&L Kiln. They will outlast any other kiln because of their patented method of keeping the kiln elements from sagging as they tend to do in other kilns. You can buy factory seconds if you live in SE Pennsylvania

Lightly wet a hunk of dog with cold water and set it between two sheets of plastic wrap. Pound it into a broad, flat sheet about 1/4-inch thick, using a meat pounder, the side of a heavy cleaver, or a skillet. Pound the other hunks the same way and arrange them on a baking sheet.
Generously season each hunk on both sides with salt and pepper and a pinch or two of chile flakes. Sprinkle both sides with the garlic and rosemary. Drizzle both sides with the lemon juice and olive oil and pat into the meat with your fingertips. Refrigerate the hunks for 20 minutes while you prepare the grill.
Heat a gas grill to high or prepare a hot charcoal fire. Brush and oil the grill grate.
Arrange the dog hunks on the grill grate and grill until cooked and firm to the touch, 1 to 2 minutes per side. (Use a long, wide spatula to move and turn the hunks.) Transfer the hunks to a platter or plates. Drizzle with olive oil and serve immediately with lemon wedges for squeezing.
WS – I can sympathize with you on that one. I just noticed a dog bomb mine field in my yard the other day and I don't own a dog.
I suspect you could use the cat recipe, but beating the subject as a first step with the green branch or bat would ensure tenderness. Bon appetite!
