Platter Tray Is it normal that i'm obsessed with plasticware containers and such???
I love love love plastic containers, jars, bins, pitchers, storage tubs, lunch boxes, platters, trays, ice trays, etc (bento also)....the more colorful the better... I like the ones from the dollar store better because I think they're more unique and colorful than the typical colored containers
Of course you're normal! I mean, what's not to love about those plastic containers?
-They're really easy to clean.
-You drop one... oops. Or not! No chips or breaks!
-You can lend one to a friend without worrying that they'll forget to give back "your favorite glass platter" or whatever
-You can write on them with permanent or white-erase board markers, and then wash the ink off, if needed
-They're a lot more inexpensive than most glass and porcelain containers, but still serve the purpose
So it's totally normal! And not only normal, practical, too!

I'm having my son's birthday party this weekend and I am feeding the parents too. The place I am having the party at has sandwich and appetizer platters that feed between 6-8 people, pizzas, and a veggie tray that feeds up to 12 people. How many platters would be enough? I really don't want much food left over. Thanks!

Based on those calculations...I suggested the above for your party
Oh By the Way...Bring some Zip Loc bags in case you have left over...I know that sometimes they do not let you take left overs, but at least you can grab some Crudite ( veggie platter) items in the zip loc bags.
