Pottery Usa What is the best way to send my belongings from the USA to New Zealand?
I will be moving to New Zealand, but only plan to take clothing, a few books, CDs, and a couple of pottery pieces. I'm not leaving until Dec. and would like to start sending a few boxes prior to my departure.
There are a few options available to you. I would look into an international moving company. They often ship things in crates & containers etc & depending on the amount of things you want to take they can advise you on the best options & prices. Another option would be to contact the airline & ask about sending it on ahead as freight but you do need someone at the other end to collect it for you if your not travelling at the same time. I think that the websites have this listed as cargo but should be of help to you. Personally Id do some searching through google to see what you come up with. I too shall be doing this in the next couple of years (NZ is my home so I cant wait to get back there) & have already decided on the moving company option but only because I want to take some of my furniture & bigger personal belongings with us. We are simply getting too old to start over again. We are also going to be taking our dog with us & thats the one thing that I dont have a lot of success in researching. Good luck with your move. Hope it all works out well for you.

Dragonfly Pottery, Made In The USA
Looking for toy pottery wheel that's Made in USA?
...or at least not in China.
I've found *real* pottery wheels (>$400) that are made in the USA, but no 'toy' ones. Ideal would be in the $50 range.
I'm not sure if they are made in the US but I've seen them at craft stores like Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and Joanne's.
Looks like today will be an anomaly in the blog stats. It's not yet 8:45 AM and we've already gotten an entire “normal” day's worth of hits from people searching for “God's Pottery.”
If you Google “Gods Pottery” (with the incorrect punctuation) this post comes up fourth overall. Right after two links to the group's actual website and their official MySpace page. Crazy!
And in case you didn't already know, they were eliminated last night.
