VirgoBabe, where else can you find Chinese goods but in Chinatown? If you have a Chinese community somewhere in the neighborhood, then go there and see if it has a Chinese store.
Here's one at Ebay (follow the link.) It costs around 6 dollars, and is from Rhode Island.

China Pearl I have a collectors plate made by Pearl a china co...?? Help?
Hard to form a very exact answer, since I am not sure what, exactly, you are interested in finding out. What might be a good general help to you would be to find one of the somewhat oversized books that cover collectible plates. Most any large bookstore should stock at least a couple of them. Might be best to start at a local library. Very often, this is a good beginning, especially at the price -- free! After learning a bit about these plates, it might be easier to specify what you need to know.
Bestselling author Anchee Min (EMPRESS ORCHID) has written an epic novel inspired by the life of Pearl S. Buck, the Nobel laureate author of THE GOOD EARTH. Min tells Pearl`s story through the lens of her lifelong friendship with Willow, a Chinese girl who she grew up with in rural China, and whose experiences helped inspire her celebrated novels. Despite Buck`s love of China, the Cultural Revolution forces her to flee China and the Communists demand Willow denounce Buck and her missionary father as "imperialists." Min follows both women`s intertwined stories over the decades, including Willow`s unhappy marriage to a member of Mao`s inner circle, and the two women`s love for the same poet. The novelized story of their friendship, though threatened constantly by the forces of politics, becomes a compelling narrative of the history of 20th-century China.
A novel based on the life of novelist Pearl S. Buck follows her as she grows up in late-19th-century China, the daughter of Christian missionaries; befriends Willow, a Chinese peasant girl; and with Willow shares life`s joys and sorrows, despite the Communist revolution, which tests the bonds of their friendship. By the author of Red Azalea.
Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Pearl River or less commonly, the Guangdong River or Canton River etc., , is an extensive river system in Southern China. The name Pearl River is usually used as a catchment term to refer to the watersheds of the Xi Jiang ( West River ), the Bei Jiang ( North River ), and the Dong Jiang ( East River ). These rivers are all considered tributaries of the Pearl River because they share a common delta, the Pearl River Delta. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F. Despite winning a Pulitzer and Nobel prize and writing 39 novels--many of them runaway bestsellers--Pearl Buck`s literary reputation has dwindled considerably since her death in 1973. Hilary Spurling (MATISSE THE MASTER) seeks to remedy that with her engrossing biography of Buck, a woman whose fascinating life gave her a unique outlook on issues of social justice and multi-culturalism. The daughter of a fanatical missionary father who neglected his long-suffering wife, Buck was raised in a China where dogs could be seen eating abandoned female babies. After suffering through an abusive marriage of her own to an American industrialist, Buck became highly sensitive to both the plight of women and the suffering of China`s rural poor. These would become the topics of her popular fictions, including THE GOOD EARTH--which became an international sensation. Forced to flee China after the rise of Communism, Buck lived an uneasy existence as a wealthy celebrity author in an America she never fully could call home. PEARL BUCK IN CHINA is a compelling tale of a pioneering and idealistic woman whose life and writing deserve greater attention. Selected by the New York Times Book Review as a Notable Book of 2010.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The practice of drinking tea has had a long history in China, having originated from there. The Chinese drink tea during many parts of the day such as at meals for good health or simply for pleasure. Although tea originates from China, Chinese tea generally represent tea leaves which have been processed using methods inherited from ancient China. According to popular legend, tea was discovered by Chinese Emperor Shennong in 2737 BCE when a leaf from a Camellia sinensis tree fell into water the emperor was boiling. Tea is deeply woven into the history and culture of China. The beverage is considered one of the seven necessities of Chinese life, along with firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce and vinegar. Some writers classify tea into four categories, white, green, oolong and black. Others add categories for red, scented and compressed teas. All of these come from varieties of the Camellia sinensis plant. Chinese flower tea while popular, is not a true tea. Most Chinese tea is consumed in China and is not exported. Chinese Democracy- is Axl Rose holding back the release until China actually becomes a democracy?
Sure it's cost millions of pounds, and it's been years and years.... but why? What is the man waiting for? Mao Zedong to rise from the dead, and kick his ass or something?
I've heard some of the songs on YouTube and they are just awful. Axl can't sing and all the band are hired hands who are yes men who will be fired at the slightest problem.

Could I wear this type of thing to an anime convention and actually be able to pull of a 'chinese style' look?
something like that maybe ^ although if you REALLY wanted to pull off the Chinese look, it would need to be something more like a "cheongsam" (China's national dress):
I think the kimono/yukata would be better for an anime convention as it is Japanese~
By the way, the yukata from Lawrarashop and the cheongsam from ebay are some of the cheapest I could find compared to your $200 choice~ If you type in either on ebay you should also be able to find a lot more.
