China Soup can i freeze soup in bowls with clingflim over the top?
i want to make some weight watchers soup and i want to make a big batch but i have nothing to put it in to freeze it so i was wondering if it would be ok to put it into the china bowls and put cling film over it and freeze it this way.....and how long would it b ok to keep in the freezer for??
Yes you can freeze soup. But you should put it in individual freezer bags instead. When you want some just open the bag and take it out. Warm it in a microwave safe or galss bowl. Or in a pan. I freeze left over soup, chili, casseroles like that all the time. Makes for a quick meal! It will slide right out of the bag after a few minutes but make sure to freeze them flat. If they freeze with folds of buckled it won't come out as easy it will have to thaw for a little while. They should keep in there a couple months.
