Leaf Tea Wht is my iced tea cloudy? I brew it from loose leaf tea, how can I get clear iced tea?
I brewed my iced tea with a couple tsp, of loose leaf tea in 2 cups water. I added the concentrate to a 7 cup container with ice and topped up with cold water. Tea tastes great, it's just cloudy.
Iced tea going cloudy is a common sign of cooling it too fast, and isn't harmful at all .
If the cloudiness really bothers you, and you have some good patience you can either allow the brewed tea to cool completely to room temperature before chilling in the fridge or with ice, or you can add room temperature water to the hot tea instead of the cold water and ice and putting it in the refrigerator.

When is a good time to start drinking Raspberry leaf tea as a uterine tonic during pregnancy?

I was recently given some raspberry leaf tea as a gift. I understand that it is used as a uterine tonic during pregnancy and thus eases labor to some extent. However, I think there's a time frame in which you're supposed to begin drinking it that I'm unaware of. Does any one know?
It is advisable to wait until the 32nd week of pregnancy before trying raspberry leaf tea as there is a concern that consumption before this time in the more fragile, earlier stages of pregnancy could lead to problems. Once you have reached the 32nd week of your pregnancy you could begin with one cup of raspberry leaf tea a day and gradually increase up to 4 cups or tables a day (although this may vary in accordance with the strength of the blend and the manufacturers instructions). Raspberry leaf tea does not induce labour but does contain the alkaloid 'fragine' which is said to strengthen and tone the muscles of the uterus, helping them to contract more efficiently during labour. Research has found that taking raspberry leaf during the weeks prior to delivery helps to shorten the second stage of labour by making contractions more effective. Some studies have also found that it reduces the need for an assisted delivery (i.e. an emergency cesarean or use of forceps or ventouse).
Sipping raspberry leaf tea during and after the birth is also said to help the uterus contract back down to size, reduce after birth bleeding and help initiate the let down of breastmilk.

Why don't writers and producers of EastEnders try to portray a little bit of real life. It seems to me that for the most-part, the cast either spends the entire day in the pub or at the café. Few people ever seem to do a good day's work, so where on earth do they get the money to down a dozen pints a day? Also, why do people go to the café for a cup of tea when their homes are across the street? Why does every resident on Albert Square take his/her washing to Dot in the laundrette? Does no-one own a washing machine? ...and you're not telling me that the people that stand on the market stalls earn enough for the lifestyles they portray!

An argument over Feta Cheese tonight.........?
I made Albert a Greek Salad for his tea tonight. He suggested that the feta cheese should have been crumbled and not sliced. I became upset with his obvious displeasure of it, and inadvertently accused him of having a bit of "hows yer father" with the big barmaid from the Star & Garter. We rowed for about three hours and the old boy upstairs from us became annoyed and started hammering down on the floor. Albert is now in the huff and not talking to me. I feel upset as i went to the trouble of making him the Greek Salad in the first place. Geoffrey says i do too much for him already and that he's an ungrateful tit towards me. He's just gone out now down the Star & Garter and taken wee Pongo with him. I'm worried that big Betty will be working tonight. I bet she makes better Greek Salad than i do. What should i do please? Thanks in advance. I'm terribly upset.
Before Albert comes home, make sure you've got your knickers off and crumble some feta cheese on your pu*sy. Just as he steps through the door, put your ankles behind your ears and shout "surprise".
