The real joke: An Israeli man was nearing his death, and had no possible way to till his garden that provided him with year round vegetables for all of his food needs. His son had recently gone away to law school, leaving him with no means of digging up the dirt necessary to plant the garden, so the father sent him a letter. Dear Ahmed, In my old age, I have become too frail to plant our garden. If you know of any help I could acquire, please inform me as soon as possible. Ahmed soon recieved the letter, and knowing he could do nothing of the matter, quickly scribbled a reply and sent it home. It read: Father, do not dig up the garden this year. *It* is buried there. The next morning, government officials arrived at the scene, digging up more than was necessary, but to no avail. The father then received a letter the next day saying, Don’t forget to water every day. Love, Ahmed.
